2008 Concours d'Elegance

The second annual Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Historical Park will begin at 10:30 AM on Sunday, September 14th, 2008. Examine and admire 200 of the finest classic and antique automobiles and motorcycles in the country, amidst the beautiful and welcoming setting of the region’s premier outdoor museum. This year’s event will feature the automobiles of Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Jaguar, nestled among the historical buildings and exhibits of Carillon Historical Park. Guests will be treated with food, live music, and historical demonstrations in addition to the chance to see beautiful cars and motorcycles up close and personal.

The event will culminate with an awards ceremony around 3:00PM. Winners of the “Best in Class” awards will be announced, in addition to the R.H. Grant Best in Show, Charles Kettering People’s Choice, Col. Edward Deeds Judge’s Choice, Siler Spirit, Taj Ma Garaj, and Kid’s Choice Awards.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-17, with Dayton History members and children under 3 admitted free. Each admission includes full access to all of the buildings and exhibits of Carillon Historical Park, as well as a souvenir event program.
